摘要

Abstract

Deterministic analysis approach is utilized in traditional analysis on transient voltage stability of power grid, however such an approach checks voltage stability by the most severe fault with low probability of occurrence, so the result is too conservative and the approach of risk assessment can overcome such defect. A risk assessment approach for transient voltage stability in which various uncertain factors are taken into account is proposed. In the proposed approach, the control cost caused by the control measures to prevent transient voltage collapse of power grid is taken as the severity of power grid transient instability, and based on the attained risk index the faults are screened and sorted. Assessment results of IEEE 9-bus system show that the proposed assessment approach is feasible.
