Abstract
IEEE1588 is the IEEE standard for a precision clock synchronization protocol for network measurement and control systems, has become the key time-synchronization technology in Smart Grid, and can achieve time-synchronization accuracy in the nanosecond range. This paper introduces the principle of high precision clock synchronization. For MCF54418 which has additional feature support- ing IEEE1588 timestamp logic for network-triggered event recognition and generation, this paper demonstrates IEEE1588 software and hardware system structure diagrams and its realization. IEEE1588 can realize time-synchronization accuracies of under 100 ns in the test. MCF54418 without loss of performance simplifys the complexity and reduces the implementation cost, showing a broad prospect of appli- cation.关键词
