摘要

Abstract

Red clay is a kind of soil with special characteristics.In order to explore the influencing factors of red clay strength,a series of indoor direct shear tests are conducted for different water content samples to explore the influence of water content on the shear strength of red clay and explain the reason from its constitutive property.Based on least square method of Matlab software,the relationship expression among cohesion,inner frictional angle and water content is established,which provides reference for engineering construction practice.
