Air-gaps Flashover Characteristics for 1000 kV AC Compact Tower
摘要
Abstract
In order to get the air-gap characteristics parameters of tower for 1000 kV AC compact transmission line, and to supply a base of project design in the future, we experimentally studied the flashover characteristics of 'V' string air-gaps at the standard switching impulse voltage, long wave-front( 1000 μs) switching impulse voltage, and standard lightning impulse voltage, by adopting full scale tower window. By the test, we got several important air- gap flashover characteristics curves. According to the test results and the overvohage simulation conclusion, we an- alyzed the insulation co-ordination problem and suggested the minimum safe insulation air-gaps. Under the premise of enough external insulation safety in operation, the conclusion can be used to optimize the tower design and reduce the project cost.关键词
