Style comparison of spinning wheel driven by water between China and Britain
摘要
Abstract
The grand spinning wheel driven by water in ancient China and Arkley's spinning wheel driven by water in Britain are two different types of spinning machines. However, their work principles are very similar.Both are obviously different between the shape of spindle and the winding method of yarn. Based on a study on the construction and the principle of these wheels, this paper analyses their differences and holds that their similarities from the technical level, which may be a solution to Needham Problem.关键词
