摘要

Abstract

The FLUENT-based numerical simulations on the flow-fields under three flow rates for the irregular water storage pond are made herein; from which the various flow velocity distributions along different directions of water depths under different flowfields with different flow rates are obtained, and then the comparisons are made between the results from the numerical calculations with those from the physical model tests. The results show that they are more coincided. Therefore, it is demonstrated to be generally feasible for simulating the irregular water storage pond with FLUENT software.
