摘要

Abstract

Aiming at crescents existence before steel plate forming, in order to obtain accurate plate width and required edge shape, the edge milling process is necessary. In this article, the centering procedure of edge milling process was analyzed; centering method, principle, detection, and control centering procedure were discussed in details. The practice proved that adopting PI calculation method can improve centering precision to ±1.2 mm, which will reduce cutting allowance and decrease working cost; however, the crossbeam structure in this method will affect precision, the lack strength of crossbeam will reduce measurement precision, and the poor straightness of crossbeam will increase measurement error.
