Abstract
The fault characteristics transfer law of interturn short circuit in synchronous generator rotor winding from stator winding, field winding, and exciter armature winding successively to exciter field winding is studied.Theoretical analysis and calculation results indicate that the induced current with frequency multiplication ofnrM/60 is produced in exciter field winding when interturn short circuit fault occurs in rotor winding.Subsequently, a novel fault diagnosis method ofinterturn short circuit in generator rotor winding based on field current of exciter is presented, which overcomes the deficiency of needing to install invaded sensors.Finally, utilizing fault simulation generator, the dynamic simulation tests are conducted.The validity of theoretical analysis and effectiveness of fault diagnosis method are verified by experimental results.关键词
