Abstract
On the basis of the Petri net model and the mechanism of cascading failures occurred in complex power grids, the paper proposes a generalized stochastic Petri net (GSPN) model of analyzing cascading failures in power grids. The model firstly focuses on the load which influences the occurrence and spread of cascading failures, and combines the probability of failures, thus the occurrence of cascading events and propagation process are systematically analyzed and modelled. Then, the transmission line failure due to overload is simulated well by the proposed model, not only the interaction between transmission lines is denoted but also the redistribution of load is reflected under the overload situation. Finally, a BPA nine-node system is used to verify the proposed GSPN model, the result shows that the proposed GSPN model is feasible.关键词
