辐照法制备无卤阻燃HDPE/EPDM/硅橡胶共混物
Preparation of Halogen-Free Flame-Retardant HDPE/EPDM/ Silicon Rubber Composite by Irradiation

Abstract
Taking Mg(OH)2 and red phosphorus as flame retardants, silicon rubber and EPDM as blending materials, HDPE as matrix, the flame-retardant composite was prepared.The composite was also irradiated by electro beam.The mechanical properties, flame retardancy and microstructure of the composite were investigated.The results show that the addition of EPDM improves the mechanical properties of the flame-retardant composite obviously; the addition of silicon rubber makes the dispersion of the inorganic flame retardant in polymer matrix more uniform, and increases the OI of the flame-retardant composite; after irradiation, the tensile strength and OI of the flame-retardant composite increase remarkably, the char layer becomes more compact after combustion关键词
