摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the contribution of nitric oxide(NO) to nicotine-induced reproductive injury in male mice.Methods 24 males Ku-Ming mice with eight weeks old were randomly divided into normal saline group,nicotine treated group(subcutaneous injection with nicotine 4.286mg · kg-1 · d-1 )for 8 weeks.The number and motility of epididymis sperm,the concentration of testosterone in testis and serum,the level of nitric oxide and NO synthase in testis were detected.Results Compared with normal saline group, the number and motility of.sperm decreased, and so did the concentration of testosterone in testis and serum in nicotine-treated group( P < 0.05).Whereas,the concentration of NO and the expression of inducible NO synthuse increased in nicotine-treated group( P < 0.05).Conclusion The augmentation of nitric oxide level may contribute to the nicotine-induced reproductive injury in male mice.关键词
