Curriculum System of Clinical Medical Specialties in College Level (General Medicine Direction) Based on Professional Competence

Abstract
Objective To comprehensively analyze the professional competence of general practitioners ( GP ) so as to construct curriculum system of clinical medical specialties ( general medicine direction ) in medical college. Methods Stratified random sampling was used to choose 12 GPs form community health service organizations. Questionnaire survey and group interview were conducted among them, and they were asked to write 1 - month work logs. A new curriculum system were decided after 2 rounds of experts' counseling through Delphi method. Results GP's main tasks were, in turn, observation of patients in temporary ward, diagnosis and treatment of patients, diagnosis and treatment of common symptoms, community health education. medical examination, health counseling services, chronic disease management, etc. According to GP's tasks and vocational ability, community - based curriculum system should be set up from 4 aspects of " prevention, health care, medical treatment and rehabilitation". Conclusion It is to set up curriculum system of clinical medical specialties ( general medicine direction ) based on GP's professional competence and implement the training mode of "community - based education combined with problem - based learning ( CBE - PBL )" that can adapt to the development of community health services to meet the demands for GP' training.关键词
