摘要

Abstract

Objective:To explore effects of body wright,growth home one and insulin-like growth factor-Ⅰ of active immunization against recom viant gonadotrpin relesing gome one(MBP-GnRH-6)in boars.Methods:Seven boars at 9 weeks were actibely immunized againsy MBP-GnRH-6,and the booster immunization was adm inistered at 17 weeks.The body weights were mesuted at ld before immunization and slaughter,respectively.The concentrations of PGH,IGF-I and testosterone(T)in serum were detem ined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and radioimmunoassay,respectively.Potential correlation between testosterone and IGF-I in serum was analyzed with Pearson correlation.Results:Active immunization against MBP-GnRH-6 and reduced serum cincentration of tetodterone(p<0.05)compared to positive control,and incresed the body weight compared to negative control(p<0.05),but did not affect the level of PGH in serum of boars(p<0.05).However,IGF-I concentration of serum in MBP-GnRH-6 immunized boars was significantly lower than that of the control group at 17-21weeks of age(p<0.05),and markedly higher than that of the negative control animals at 21-25 weeks of age(p<0.050.Serum testoterone was positively comelted with IGF-I .Conlusion:Active immunization against MBP-GnRH-6incresed body weight (p<0.05)and the level of IGF-I(P<0.05),and its pathway may control serum IGF-I by serum testosterone in boars.
