摘要
Abstract
Objective Discussion the susceptible factors, treatments and prevention of the infective endophthalmitis after cataract surgery and IOL implantation. Methods Analyzing five cases of infective endophthalmitis from Jan 1999 to Dec 2010. Results The five patients were very weak and all had severe systemic disease. For peri-surgery history: two cases had obvious dislocation incision, one had unqualified sterilization, two had no obvious reasons. For microorganism culture: one was mould infection, two were Staphylococcus epidermidis infection, and other two had negative cultivation. For treatments: one had vitreous injection, one had corneal transplantation, and other three had vitrectomy. All saved the eyes, and the best visual acuity is O. 3. Conclusion The infective endophthalmitis is related with the systemic situation, surgical incision, post-surgical clinical care and surgical procedures. The best method is vitrectomy.关键词
