Abstract
Objective To determine the visual and anatomical outcome of surgery for long-standing retinal detachment combined with complicated cataract. Methods Aretrospective review of 13 eyes of 13 patients who underwent surgery for long-standing retinal detachment combined with complicated cataract. The preoperative and postoperative visual acuities, the retina anatomical outcome and the complications were recorded. Results To the last follow-up, all patients achieved anatomical reduction. In 7 cases, the best corrected postoperative visual acuity was above 0.02. No serious complications. Conclusion The surgical treatment for patients with long-standing retinal detachment combined with complicated cataract with a good value.关键词
