Abstract
Under the interaction of economic, social, cultural and natural conditions, the spatial development of small towns involves natural environmental factors, artificial environmental factors and social environmental factors. Therefore, its spatial development should focus on the protection of eco-environment, seek the direction of spatial development under the overall consideration, determine the spatial layout, and construct the spatial layout plan of small towns under the requirements of sustainable development. With Zhangguanmiao Town for example, it is emphasized that the planning of small towns should make full exploitation of local rich historic and cultural connotation, pay attention to the overall layout, try to match the spatial form of towns to local natural environment, highlight the protection of humanistic and historic environment, and foster a human-nature harmonious sustainable development environment in small town.关键词
