Effect of Curculigo Orchioides Extracts on the Proliferation of Mouse Osteoblast-Like Cells
摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the effects of the Curculigo orchioides extracts on the proliferation of MC3T3 - E1 cells in vitro. Methods Cell growth of MC3T3 -E1 cells was assayed by MTT method after cells were incubated with the Curculigo orchioides extracts at various concentrations in vitro. Results Treated with the low concentration of Curculigo orchioides extracts (1 ∶ 1 500 group) , proliferation rate is 6. 0％ and no statistically significant differences in cell proliferation were observed. Whereas, at the 1 ∶ 1 000 group, Curculigo orchioides extracts significantly promotes the proliferation in MC3T3 -E1 cells in vitro (21. 7％ , P＜0. 05). At the 1 ∶ 500 group,proliferation rate is 51. 9％ ( P＜ 0. 05) while it is 66. 3％ (P＜ 0. 01) at the 1 ∶ 250 group. P ＜ 0. 05, P＜0. 01 vs. vehicle - treated control cells, respectively. Conclusion Curculigo orchioides extracts significantly stimulates the proliferation of osteoblasts in. vitro.关键词
