Effects of hypoxia on mesenchymal stem cells osteogenic differentiation
摘要
Abstract
The physiological niches for mesenchymal stem cells ( MSCs ) in the bone marrow and other sites have much lower oxygen tension than the normal circulation. When used as a therapeutic tool to repair tissue injuries, MSCs cultured under standard conditions must adapt to the oxygen concentration from 21% to less than 1% in the ischemic tissues. In this article, we give a brief introduction by summing up the progress in the effect of hypoxia on osteogenic differentiation of MSCs in recent years.关键词
