Abstract
Objective To summarize the reasons of drug returning in the outpatient pharmacy and to explore the measures to reduce drug re-turning. Methods 594 prescription of drug returning were collected from January to December in 2009 and analyzed statistically. Results The causes of drug returning mainly included poor patient compliance in 196 prescriptions (33. 00% ), adverse reactions in 170 prescrip-tions (28. 62% ), irrational drug use in 157 prescriptions (26.43%) and other factors in 71 prescriptions (11. 95% ). The top three places in the cases number of drug returning were in turn internal medicine (28.96% ), pediatrics (14.14% ) and emergency department (12. 29% ). Conclusion Hospital doctors and pharmacists should work together to enhance the doctor - patient communication, renew the ser-vice concepts, increase the level of rational drug use and reduce the occurrence of drug returning.关键词
