Abstract
Objective To find out an optimized method for constructing scintillation crystal positron emission tomography( PET) detector, a simulation study of photon transmission in the LYSO crystal is carried out by using of a nuclear medicine simulation platform GATE ( geant4 application for tomographic emission) . Methods Simulation platform of PET was built employing GATE based on Linux fedora operating system. The transport of gamma photon in the LYSO crystal detector module was simulated by using GATE. Results The physical detector module with LYSO crystal coupled with photomultiplier was developed. Also, the address mapping was obtained by using simulation data. Conclusions It is a feasible method of constructing PET detector by using GATE. Furthermore, the address mapping could serve as a valuable guidance for the research of scatter plot.关键词
