低强度脉冲电磁场对兔动脉粥样硬化斑块中MMP-9及TIMP-1表达的影响

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of low - intensity pulse electromagnetic field( LPEF )on the expression of matrix metalloproteinase - 9( MMP - 9 )and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinase - l( TIMP - 1 )in atherosclerotic( AS )plaques of rabbits. Methods Rabbits were randomly divided into three groups: normal diet( ND )group, high fat diet( HD )group and HD plus magnetic field( HM )group. The ND and the HD group were respectively given regular diet and high fat diet. The HM group was given high fat diet, and meanwhile received intervention of LPEF. After intervention for 7 w,the aortic roots of these animals were dissected for routine paraffin sections and HE staining,and the area of AS plaque was calculated. In addition,the expression of MMP - 9 and TIMP -1 in AS plaque was detected by immunohistochemical staining. Results HD treatment significantly increased the area of AS plaque in aortic root compared with ND treatment P < 0. 05 ). LPEF intervention significantly attenuated HD - induced formation of AS plague ( P < 0. 05 ). HD treatment significantly elevated the expression of MMP - 9 and TIMP - 1 in AS plaque( P < 0. 05 ). However, the intervention of LPEF significantly inhibited the HD - induced increases of the expression level of MMP - 9 and TIMP - l( P < 0. 05 ), and remarkably decreased the ratio of MMP - 9 to TIMP - 1. Conclusion The anti - AS mechanism of LPEF treatment may be related to decrease the ratio of MMP - 9 to TIMP - 1.关键词
