The Effect of Scalp Acupuncture on Blood-brain Barrier of Rats with Cerebral Ischemia Reperfusion
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of scalp acupuncture on infrastructure of blood -brain barrier, the brain water and S100B protein content in the rats for exploring the protective effects. Methods: Focal cerebral ischemia was induced by intraluminal middle cerebral artery occlusion and reperfusion (MCAO/R) method by using a monofilament thread in male SD rats. The electron microscope was used to observe the changes of ultras tract ure of blood - brain barrier;The brain water content and S100B protein content in serum were calculated to observe the influence of acupuncturing scalp. Results: ?Electron microscope results indicated that the cerebral ultrastructure of blood - brain barrier was significantly meliorated in acupuncturing scalp group; (^Compared with model group, the brain water and S100B protein content have been significantly reduced in acupuncturing scalp group (P < 0. 05). Conclusion: The scalp acupuncture has protective effect on the structure and function to blood - brain barrier of rats with cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury.关键词
