The Influence of Electroacupuncture Therapy on the Expression of Hippocampus NOS, CaMK Ⅱ in Rats' Models of Alzheimer's Disease

摘要

Abstract

Objective;To observe the influence of electroacupuncture therapy on the expression of hippocampus NOS, CaMKII in rats' models of Alzheimer's Disease . Methods: All animals were randomly divided into five groups:normal group,model group,saline group,western medicine group and electroacupuncture group. AD rats were induced by injecting 10% STZ lOul into the lateral ventricle. Model control group was injected with normal saline instead of STZ . After modeling, electropuncture group after electropuncture stimulation :" Baihui" , " Dazhui" , "Shenshu", "Zusanli", "Taixi" points for treatment. With the moons water maze test of learning and memory in rats, one randomly selected 50 rates to observe by immunohistoochemistry in hippocampus of rats CaMKII ,NO expression. Results; Rats'learning and memory abilities of model group were significantly lower than that of the normal group and electroacupuncture group (P <0.05). The expressions of NOS.CaMK H in rat hippocampus of model group were significantly lower than those of normal group and elecctroacupuncture group (P<0.01). Conclusion;Electroacupuncture can increase the expression of hippocampus NOS,CaMKII and thereby can prevent a decline in learning and memory abilities in AD rats.
