Abstract
Objective; To study the apophlegmatic and antitussive actions of Shichuan Huatan powder to provide a scientific basis for clinical application. Methods; The apophlegmatic and antitussive actions of Shichuan Huatan powder were studied by the phenolsulfonphthalein excretion of mice trachea and citric acid cough in guinea pigs. Results: The result shows Shichuan Huatan powder can significantly promote phenolsulfonphthalein excretion in mice trachea and reduce the number of cough by citric acid in guinea pigs. Conclusion: The apophlegmatic and antitussive effects of Shichuan Huatan powder are evident through the experiments.关键词
