Abstract
Objective To study the expressions of Ki67,PTEN and survivin in retinoblastoma (RB) tissue and discuss their clinical significance. Methods The expressions of Ki67,PTEN and survivin were detected by immunohistochemistry in 44 cases of RB slice and 10 normal retinal tissues.and analysed their relation with gender,clinical stage, op tic nerve invasion and differentiation degree in the patients with RB. Results The expressions of Ki67 and survivin were negative,and that of PTEN was positive in all normal retinal tissues. In the RB tissue,positive expression rates of Ki67,PTEN and survivin were 47. 7% (21/44),65- 9% (29/44) and 59. \% (26/44),respectively. PTEN expression was significantly reduced,Ki67 and survivin expressions were significantly increased,compared with control group,the difference was statistically significant (I><0. 05). The expressions of Ki67 ,PTEN and survivin had no significant difference between the sexes (P>0.05). In intraocular growing and glaucoma (intraocular pressure rise) stages,the expressions of Ki67 and PTEN were increasing,and survivin was reducing,compared with that extraocular extension stage in RB patients (P<0. 05). In RB patients with out optic nerve invasion (NO),the expressions of Ki67 and PTEN were higher (P<0.05),and survivin expression was lower (P<0.05) than that associated with optic nerve invasion (Nl-N3).In RB cell differentiate,the expressions of Ki67,PTEN and survivin in R0 were significantly higher than that those in Rl and R2 (P<0. 05). Conclusion In RB patients, positive expression of PTEN was significantly reduced,and the expressions of Ki67 and survivin were significantly higher than that in the normal retinal tissue. The expressions of Ki67,PTEN and survivin detected have important value in the development,invasion and metastasis in RB patients.关键词
