Abstract
Objective To investigate serum levels of TNF-α , IL- 1, IL- 8 and IL- 12 in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) and their clinical significance. Methods Ninety five patients with CHD and 50 healthy adults (controls) were recruited in this study. The serum TNF-α , IL- 1, IL- 8 and IL- 12 levels were measured by ELISA in both groups.Results The serum levels of TNF-α , IL- 1, IL- 8 and IL- 12 in CHD group were significantly higherthan those in normal controls (P<0.01). The serum levels of TNF-α , IL- 1, IL- 8 and IL- 12 were significantly different between patients with different CHD type (stable angina pectoris, unstable angina pectoris, myocardial infarction), with different vascular number (one artery, two arteries, three arteries)and with different vascular stenosis ?80%, 80%~90%, >90%) (P<0.01).Conclusion Serum levels of TNF-α , IL- 1, IL- 8 and IL- 12 might be associated with the susceptibility to CHD and the degree of condition.关键词
