Abstract
Objective:To evaluate factors that impact on fertility after myomectomy. Methods:There were 122 patients eligible for this study. Their clinical data, evaluated the pregnancy outcome following myomectomy and tested the correlation between conception rate after surgery and the age of patients undergoing surgery, operative techniques, biological characters of the fibroid including number, type,size and location of the largest one,degree of pelvic adhesion and complications were analyzed. Results: With multivariable logistic regression,age(P = 0. 0005) and pelvic adhesion (P = 0.002) were two independent factors impacting on the postoperative pregnancy rate. Other factors such as the type, location, size, number of the fibroid and operative techniques had no impact on fertility (P > 0. 05 ). Conclusions: This study suggests that age and severe pelvic adhesion are the two main determinants of conception rate after myomectomy.关键词
