白细胞介素8基因-251位点多态性与侵袭性牙周炎的相关性研究

Abstract
Objective To investigate the association of interleukin-8 (IL-8) gene polymorphisms at the position - 251 and aggressive periodontitis. Methods The genotype and allele distributions of interleukin-8 gene at the position-251 in a case-control study involving 77 patients with aggressive periodontitis and 50 healthy controls were analyzed by polymer-ase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism. Results There was no significant difference in genotype or allele frequency between aggressive periodontitis group and healthy control group of interleukin-8 -251 A/T polymorphism. Conclusion The results suggest that IL-8 gene -251 A/T polymorphism is not associated with the susceptibility of aggressive periodontitis in Han Cantonese in Guangdong area.关键词
