Large six-party columnar joints of acidic volcanic rocks and its geological causes and significance in Hong Kong China
摘要
Abstract
In this paper, the author described the large six-party columnar joints structural landscapes in HongKong China, which is developed in the acidic volcanic rocks, an discussed its geological formation. In addition, through comparing more than 10 columnar joints landscape structures worldwide, the author pointed out that the large six-party columnar joints structural landscape of acidic volcanic tuff rocks is a rare geological phenomenon of the same kind rocks in the word, characteristic of large distribution area and complete outcrops, which has important scientific value to the developmental history of the Western Pacific Mesozoic volcanic rocks.关键词
