摘要

Abstract

[Objective] The effect of the pollution of excessive Mg2+ and magnesium dust on cropgrowth and development was researched. [Method] The development indicator of maize plant grown in soil, which was added with the different concentrations of MgCl2 reagent and lightly burned magnesium dust, was measured for 4 times after 27 days' culture. [Result] The effect of Mg2+ on the chlorophyll development was firstly activation and then inhibition and on the root activity was firstly inhibition and then activation, however, the root activity was decreased while the content of Mg2+ was up to 5.0 mg/g. [ Conclusion] The dual role of both concentration and time of MgO affected the plant physiological activity.
