Abstract
To investigate the expression of CDC4 and cyclin E in gastric cancer and elucidate the potential relationship between their expression and clinical pathological characteristics.Semiquantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was determined the mRNA expression of CDC4 and cyclin E in part of random selecting gastric cancer samples and corresponding adjacent normal mucosal tissues; Im-munohistochemistry was used to detect the protein expression of CDC4 and cyclin E in 60 specimens of gastric cancers and corresponding adjacent normal mucosal tissues.The expression of CDC4,cyclin E and the clinical pathological characteristics were analyzed.The protein expression of CDC4 in gastric cancer tissues were significantly lower than that in adjacent normal mucosal tissues (P<0.05),whereas the protein expressionof cyclin E in gastric cancer tissues were significantly higher than that in adjacent normal mucosal tissues (P<0.01).The protein and mRNA expression of CDC4,cyclin E were correlated with differentiation,TNM stage,lymph node metastasis,infiltration.There was a significant negative correlation between CDC4 and cyclin E at the mRNA expression levels,cyclin E overexpression is likely to be the CDC4IFBXW1 loss.The loss of CDC4 may be a valuable marker for assessing the diagnosis and treatment and the prognosis of gastric canzcer.关键词
