Expression of Delta Np63 mRNA in Urine and Blood Samples from Normal Donor and Bladder Transitional Cell Cancer Patients

Abstract
To explore the expression and clinical significance of delta Np63 mRNA and protein in urine and blood of the transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder (TCCB).The reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) assay was conducted to detect expression of delta Np63 mRNA in urine of 53 cases of TCCB,40 cases of normal urine and 30 cases of peer age group urine,the expression of delta Np63 mRNA in blood of 47 cases of TCCB,27 cases of normal blood and 30 cases of peer age group.Pathological types and clinical stages of delta Np63 mRNA expression was also analyzed.The expression rate of delta Np63 mRNAin urine of TCCB was 71.7% (38/53) and in blood was 76.6% (36/47),respectively.The differences expression rate of delta Np63 mRNA in different pathological types and clinical stages of TCCB were not significant.There were high expression of delta Np63 mRNA in TCCB,that means delta Np63 maybe associated with tumorigenesis in TCCB,but may not be associated with pathological types and clinical stages of TCCB.Additional studies will be required to explore the function of delta Np63 in the progression of TCCB.关键词
