Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To reduce the number of outpatient prescription involving dispensing errors, and to ensure safe drug use of patients. METHODS: The quality control circle (QCC) activity was carried out through a series of steps, such as plan, implementation, check and disposition. The number of outpatient prescriptions involving dispensing errors in certain period was compared before and after the event, and the degree of improvement was calculated. RESULTS: The number of outpatient prescription involving dispensing errors decreased from 88 pieces per day before the event to 39.6 pieces per day after the event. The degree of improvement was 55.0%. CONCLUSION: The development of QCC activity has reduced the number of outpatient prescription involving dispensing errors, improved the quality of pharmaceutical care and protected the safety of patients.关键词
