Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To analyze the situation of qualification exam and registration of licensed pharmacists in China in order to provide a reference for the scientific management. METHODS: There were 97 859 persons who passed the qualification exam and registration of licensed pharmacists announced by State Food and Drug Administration during 2007 - 2010. Excel software was used to sort and analyze the general information of staff, the property of unit, distribution of professional practice, total number of persons who passed the qualification exam and registration of licensed pharmacists and their sequence. RESULTS: The number of persons who passed the qualification exam of licensed pharmacists over 3 years were 8 767, 8 658, 11 296. Their subordinate units included production (34%), operation (20%) and application (46%) of drugs. The maximum number of persons who passed the qualification exam was 1 016 and minimum number was 9 among those provinces. Shandong province took up the first place. The number of persons who registered licensed pharmacists over 3 years were 15 071, 23 010, 31 030. They were engaged in drug retail (60%), drugs wholesale (28%), drug production (6.9%), drug application (6.1%). Guangdong province, Jiangsu province and Zhejiang province took up the top place. CONCLUSION: The number of persons who passed the qualification exam and registration of licensed pharmacists increase steadily, but there are still some problems, such as slow growth and uneven distribution.关键词
