CD44变异体(CD44v17)在食管癌中的表达及意义
Expression of the CD44 variant(CD44v17) and its significance in esophageal carcinoma

Abstract
Objective: To explore the expression and significance of the CD44vl7 in esophageal carcinoma. Methods: The specific primers of the CD44 variant(CD44vl7) (Gene Bank NO. FJ216964) found in MCF-7/Adr in our laboratory were designed. The expression of CD44vl7 at mRNA levels in 73 cases of e-sophageal carcinoma tissues and corresponding normal tissues was detected with real-time quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) method. The relationship between the CD44vl7 mRNA expression and biological characteristic esophageal carcinoma was evaluated. Results: The significant difference of the CD44vl7 mRNA expression levels was found between the group of esophageal carcinoma tissues and the control group( P < 0.05 ). In addition, overexpression of CD44vl7 mRNA was closely related with the histopathologic classification ,TNM stage and lymph node metastasis (P < 0. 05) ,but not with the tumor size, location and pathological type (P >0.05). Conclusion: CD44vl7 mRNA is over expressed in esophageal carcinoma, which may serve as an important indicator of malignant degree, invasion and metastasis potential and prognosis of esophageal carcinoma.关键词
