The experiences of mini-invasive surgical treatment for colorectal diseases

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the indications,safety and feasibility of laparoscopic surgical treatment for colorectal diseases. Methods:The clinical data of 226 patients with colorectal diseases treated by laparoscopic surgery from Jan. 2007 to Aug. 2010 were analyzed retrospectively. Results:Laparoscopic colorectal operation was successfully performed in 222 cases,and the other 4 cases were converted to open operation. The mean operating time was (172 ±65) min;the average blood loss was (95 ±41) ml. There was no perioperative death in these cases. The mean follow-up of the 186 patients with malignant colorectal tumor was 26 months,the local recurrence rate, distant metastasis rate and tumor related mortality was 2.2% (n=4),2.7% (n=5) and 3. 8% ( n = 7 ), respectively. Conclusions:Laparoscopic operation for colorectal diseases is safe and feasible. Laparoscopic operation is as effective as conventional open surgery in the treatment of colorectal cancer.关键词
