摘要
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of total mesorectal excision(TME)with pelvic autonomic nerve preserving (PANP) on the sexual function of male patients with rectal cancer. Methods:One hundred and seven male patients with rectal cancer were divided into PANP group (n=56) and TME group (n=51) according to operation methods. Postoperative sexual functional status of patients who received PANP, or TME plusPANP, or TME were retrospectively observed and analyzed. Results .-The indexes of sexual functions of the those in the PANP group were significantly improved when compared with those in the TME group (P<0. 01). Conclusion ? The total mesorectal excision with PANP in rectal cancer patients could effectively protect the sexual function, thus improve the quality of life of male patients.关键词
