Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of Xuebijing injection on the levels of serum interleukin( IL) - 10, IL - 15 and IL - 18 in patients with severe acute pancreatitis ( SAP). Methods Fifty patients with SAP were random divided into two groups, trial group were treated by routine treatment and Xuebijing injection, control group were routinely treated only. Serum IL - 10, IL - 15 and IL - 18 were determined before and 1,4,7 days therapy. The C reaction protein(CRP) , serum and u-rine amylase, time of abdominal symptom release and average hospital-stay were compared in two groups. Results When trial group were treated one week, CRP were reduced ,compared to control group (P <0. 05). Serum and urine amylase were approach to nomal in trial group. Time of abdominal symptom and average hospitalstay in trial group were shorter significantly than in control group ( P < 0. 05 ). No significant changes in serum IL - 10, IL - 15 and IL - 18 were noticed in two groups on Id after treatment (P >0.05). The serum levels of IL -15 and IL - 18 of SAP were significantly decreased in the trial group than in the control group on 4 d and 7 d after using Xuebijing (P <0.01). But the serum levels of IL - 10 of SAP in trial group got significantly higher than in control group (P < 0.01). Conclusion Xuebijing injection has therapeutic effects on SAP by inhabiting serum IL -15, IL -18 level and ineressing IL -10 leveL关键词
