Abstract
Objective; To evaluate the application value of three-dimensional ultrasonography(3DUS) in diagnosing fetal malformations. Methods; Both 2DUS and 3DUS were used to examine 97 pregnant women with fetal malformations. The diagnostic rate of 2DUS and 3DUS were compared, and the diagnostic information provided by the two methods was evaluated. Results; One hundred forty-two malformations were discovered by induced labor and follow-up in 98 fetuses of 97 pregnant women. In 115 malformations ( 80. 9% ) 2DUS made the affirmative diagnoses in accordance with the results; however, 133 malformations(93. 6% ) were made by 3DUS. The difference between them was statistically significant(χ2 = 10.31 ,P <0.05). In 70 (52.6%) cases of 133 malformations discovered by 3DUS, there were more diagnostic information provided by 3DUS than 2DUS. 3DUS had particular advantages over 2DUS in evaluating the fetal malformations of cranium-face, spine-extremity, and body surface. Conclusion; The diagnostic rate of 3DUS is higher than that of 2DUS, and 3DUS provides more diagnostic information in evaluating fetal malformations. Therefore, 3DUS has practical clinical value in prenatal diagnosis.关键词
