PBO纤维的紫外光老化及防老化研究
Study on the photolysis and stabilization of PBO fiber
摘要
Abstract
The photolysis of PBO fibers exposed to UV light was investigated. The attempts to improve aging resistance of PBO fiber were investigated. It is first time to find that the photolysis of PBO fibers includes two development stages: one could be defined as the physical degradation stage and the other could be defined as the chemical degradation stage. In the physical degradation stage, the main features present that the defects appear on the cortex of fiber, which result in the slow decrease of tensile strength. The chemical degradation stage mainly behaves as chain scission of PBO molecule, which results in the serious damage of fiber surface and sharp reduce of tensile strength. Attempts to improve photo stabilization of PBO fibers, such as improving structure of fiber, coating gel particles on the surface of fiber and using anti-aging agent, were done so that the photo stability of PBO fibers could be improved to some extent by using these methods.关键词
