Abstract
Objective To evaluate the use of 9. 8F ureteroscope in the out-patient double-J tube removal, ureteral cathe terization, bladder examination and urethra examination and clinical extensive use of rigid ureteroscope as an alternative method for cystoscopy and treatment. Methods From January 2008 to June 2009, we performed cavity operation in 462 out-patients using 9. 8F wolf ureteroscope in our hospital, Operations included the removal of double J tube 227 cases, ureteral catheterization 118 cases, bladder examination 89 cases and of urinary tract examination 28 cases. At the same time, accepted 22Fstorze cystoscopy operating 589 cases. The operation including the removal of double J tube 113 cases, ureteral catheterization 94 cases, bladder ex amination 340 cases, and urinary tract examination 42 cases. All operations were preformed after 3 minites of lubricant Lining sur face anesthesia, and followed up to answer a questionnaire. Questionnaire included: intraoperative VAS pain score, postoperative VAS pain score, postoperative voiding symptom score, complications assessment. Results All operations were finished success ful. Ureterscopy group: average operation duration 3. 7 mins( 1 ~ llmins), average in-operation pain score 2. 4point( 1 ~3point), average post-operation pain score 0. 8point(0 ~2point) , urinate symptom score 3. 5point(1 ~7point). Cystoscopy group: average operation duration 7. 4 mins ( l-14mins) , average in-operation pain score 4. 1 point(2 ~7point) , average post-operation pain score 3. 2point( 1 ~6point), urinate symptom score 5. 5point(2 ~ lOpoint). Questionnaire result suggested that, compared with cysto scopy , ureterscopy could decrease the in-operation pain score, post-operation pain score, urinate symptom score (P < 0. 05), and probability of operational complications. Conclusion In process of surface anaesthesia, patients can accept ureterscopy more eas ier than cystoscopy. Compared with cystoscopy, ureterscopy can obviously reduce the post-opreation complications. So, for outpatient's application, ureterscopy may be a promising substitution of cystoscopy .关键词
