Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect and shortcomings of the application of the clinical pathway in cesarean section currently. METHODS: Through CHKD Academic Journal, all domestic literatures on clinical pathway for cesarean section from 2006 to 2011 were reviewed, then the current situations of cesarean section which used clinical pathway for diagnosis and treatment was analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS: Parturients underwent cesarean section who received clinical pathway management were better than those without clinical pathway management in respect of health education, including improving the rate of disease related knowledge, satisfaction with quality of care, compliance rates and compliance behavior; in respect of diagnosis and treatment of cesarean section, including shortening hospital stay, reducing hospital costs and improving the quality of medical care. CONCLUSION: The clinical pathway for cesarean section has achieved some success, but still needs further improvement.关键词
