Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To interpret the application situation and abuse causes of antibiotics in China to put forward counter-measures. METHODS: By retrospective method, the application situation and abuse causes of antibiotics in China were analyzed and summarized. RESULTS&CONCLUSION: The abuse of antibiotics is serious in medical institutions in China to threaten the safety of the public. Main reasons are unsound drug management laws and regulations, absence of supervisory agency, absence of guidance, supervision and examination by medical institutions, absence of continuing education on rational use of antibiotics for medical staff, and absence of training on popular science, etc. According to above reasons, rational use of antibiotics monitoring by medical institutions should be strengthened to suppress the occurrence and extension of bacterial resistance and protect antibiotic resources.关键词
