Reactive Oxygen Species Involved in the Induced Cold Resistance in Postharvest Banana Peels by Aminotriazole
摘要
Abstract
The effects of aminotriazole (AT) on cold resistance and reactive oxygen species (ROS) metabolism of postharvest banana fruit were investigated. The results showed that, compared to control peels, the chilling injury index of AT treated peels was lower and the increase of cell membrane permeability was slower. Moreover, AT treatment induced the increase of H2O2 content and O2- · production and maintained their high levels before 7 days. AT treatment reduced the activities of CAT while increased the activity of APX and NADPH oxidase in banana peels. It was suggested that the reactive oxygen species induced by AT might be involved in chilling resistance of banana peels as signal molecular.关键词
