摘要

Abstract

In order to make the RF power amplifier output certain power to load, a method for designing the power amplifier which combines load-pull with source-pull is introduced, the stability, input/output matching and output power were simulated with ADS (advanced design system) software. The clear design steps are presented. At last, a RF power amplifier, whose center frequency is 2. 6 GHz and output power is 6. 5 W, is implemented, its optimization example and simulation results are given. The simulation results show that the design can meet the design requirements, and this approach is feasible. It has an important reference value for designers of the power amplifier.
