摘要
Abstract
Objective By analyzing axial view HRCT of temporal bone to approach the diagnostic value to tym-panosclerosis. Methods 20 axial view HRCT of temporal bone of tympanosclerosis confirmed by operation were analyzed. Results The soft tissue masses within tympanic cavity were found in 6 ears, both soft tissue masses and calcification in 13 ears. Calcification only in tympanic membranes was found in 1 ear. 16 ears were showing tympanic membrane thickening. Tympanosclerosis plaque that embraced auditory ossicles was found in 19 ears. Round windows were involved in 2 ears. Conclusions Axial view HRCT of temporal bone can demonstrate tympanosclerosis plaque in tympanic membranes and within tympanic cavity which may contribute to diagnosis of tympanosclerosis.关键词
