The application status of advanced resin matrix composite in satellite antenna system is introduced in this paper. Based on the researches of Beijing Institute of Space Mechanics & Electricity, difficulties of composite materials for engineering application are summarized. The major issues must be solved about design and processing and space environmental applicability are also discussed.
