摘要

Abstract

Constitutive parameters depict the characteristic of metamaterial. It is essential to disrover the variation rules of these parameters to design metamaterial. In this paper, the mechanism of metamaterial with negative electromagnetic parameters is analyzed through Maxwell equation. Then, the influence on the electromagnetic parameters is computed and studied with S parameter retrieval method, which is respectively by the variation of the geometric dimensions, such as the position of the wire, the size of the unit cell and the variation of the space interval, etc. The accurate characteristic curve received by HFSS simulation is gained. The results explain the variation rules of the constitutive parameter against geometric dimensions.
