Abstract
Objective To investigate the application of clinical nursing methods in patients receiving gastrointestinal endoscopy. Methods Two hundred and sixty-seven patients who received gastrointestinal endoscopy in our center from September to November 2011 served as an observation group and managed with the clinical nursing methods, while 298 patients who received gastrointestinal endoscopy in our center from September to November 2011 served as a control group and managed with the routine nursing methods. Extent of anxiety, incidence of adverse events, related knowledge aware percentage, and satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups. Results The extent of anxiety was significantly lower in observation group after propaganda and education than before propaganda and education (2.99% vs 22.1%, P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse effects was significantly lower in observation group than in control group( 1.87% vs 6.04%, P＜0.05). The satisfaction degree of patients and related persons was significantly higher after propaganda and education than before propaganda and education(P＜0.05). Conclusion The application of clinical nursing methods can normalize the nursing behaviors, unify the nursing standards, and reduce the incidence of adverse events.关键词
