Progress of the research work with respect to solid particles - stabilized emulsions

摘要

Abstract

Mechanism of stabilization of emulsion by solid particles was summarized in the perspectives of detachment energy, maximum capillary pressure, rheological property of the material on the interface and the body phase,as well as interaction between solid particles and the interface. Factors affecting the properties of solid particles - stabilized emulsions such as property of the solid particles, the salinity and pH of water phase, property of oil phase,the initial phase location of the solid particles and synergy between particles and surfactant, were introduced in detail. The existing problems in this field and the future prospect were pointed out.
